Your Masseur in Wallisellen

Thomas Huber

(he/they)

Touch as a language

I am a certified Source® Massage & Bodywork Practitioner, a foot reflexology massage therapist, and have also learned traditional Thai massage. I discovered my passion for massage as a way to unwind alongside my doctoral studies in linguistics. Every touch has so much to tell and is unique to each individual. Since June 2025, I have had my own massage studio in Wallisellen, where I welcome clients for massages. My sessions are covered by several supplementary insurances via the ASCA foundation. I also work as a massage therapist at Wellness World Wallisellen .

I am fascinated by direct physical work with people because so much of what we carry with us in life is reflected in the body. I often experience that we lack, or have not yet discovered the words, to truly express our feelings. Massage makes this unspoken experience accessible in a different way. With each massage, I learn more about the various influences that shape well-being, both in my clients and in myself.

From this perspective, I am particularly interested in topics surrounding the relationship with oneself and one's own body. I experience stress, recurring thought patterns, and the role of the nervous system as central aspects in bodywork. Questions about sexuality and relationships also concern me, because I understand how people encounter and get along with each other as an essential physical experience.

It is important to me to support clients with empathy so that they can experience and express themselves in a more authentic and balanced way.

What does lagom mean?

Lagom is Swedish. It means just right, not too much, not too little. You can apply lagom to almost everything in life: the temperature of a bath, how much you've eaten, how many people are in a room, or even how intense or dynamic a massage feels. Often, people go over the top when they think something is good and realize too late what would have been just right. I see it as a valuable principle in life to take everything lagom.

I look forward to working together to find out what the right, individual treatment method is for you.
